Behavioral Interventions
The New LIFE School provides children with an appropriate education that is implemented in the least restrictive environment. “Appropriateness” is determined by the educational and behavioral goals and objectives outlined in each student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Behavior intervention plans are created by the interdisciplinary team to effectively meet the students’ classroom needs. These plans are used to improve overall classroom functioning, resulting in increased academic success.
